To Blog or Not to Blog

I've always wanted to blog. This is my second attempt at keeping a blog and so far I've made one post in a year...well, I guess this counts as my second. I don't think I have a lot of awesome things to say, or that what I say is really all that important, but now that I'm a stay-at-home-mom I've found I have some extra time on my hands and thought this might be a good use of it. Maybe it will just be a good way to document what Max is doing since I'm horrible at keeping up on his baby book. Also, with it being the anniversary of Roe v Wade this week, I have a lot on my mind.

Sirach

After last Sunday's readings, Ed and I decided to start reading the book of Sirach. What an amazing book! As we read, we think about how easy life would be if we would just follow the wisdom given to us through the Bible. This book spells out life so clearly! It also has great passages about how children should treat their parents and how parents should treat their children. It gives clear guidance on how to choose friends, how to be humble, and how to deal with people.
